Jeannie Mintz - "Southern Comfort"
Jeannie is gaining recognition in country music circles and has appeared at several Jamborees
in southern Ontario.  It was a real pleasure 
to work with Jeannie on her first recording
in 2006 - "Southern Comfort"! 

Jeannie will be featured at the Kinmount Jamboree Saturday June 28th/08.
Jeannie will also be a featured guest on the Sunday morning Gospel Program.

Norm Post
We are privileged to have Norm as a special guest at the Kinmount Kountry Jamboree. 
 Norm is a pioneer in Canadian country music having performed for several years with the well known "Singing Post Family". 
For the past several years Norm has been enjoying a successful solo career. We will be enjoying Norm as he performs on the Saturday evening Main Stage, the Sunday morning Gospel program and as the guest M.C. for our Sunday evening line-up!

Brian Cosbey 
Brian has a warm, smooth texture to his vocals making him a crowd pleaser at many of the Jamborees and dances held 
throughout the year.

After the success of Brian's debut CD - 
"The First Time" in 2006, he returned to 
the studio and recorded his latest CD
 - "Cabin Tales & Memories",  released 
during the  summer of 2007.

Dave Barber
Dave has been a real worker when it comes to Country Music. He sever on the board of the C.C.M.R. for many years and has performed on the main stage for fans to enjoy. Dave will be a feature on the main stage of the Kinmout Kountry Jamboree.

Female Vocalist Of The Year 1986 & 1987
Duo Of The Year  1985 - 1987
Single Of The Year - 1988

In 1985 she won "Country Music News Fan Award" and set the stage for what was to come. In 1986 & 1987 Anita won "Female Vocalist of the Year" and in 1988, she won "Single of the Year" with One Smoky Rose . Anita, along with Tim Taylor, won "Duo of the Year" in 1984, 85, 86, and 87. Anita has been nominated five times by the CCMA for Female Vocalist of the Year. Other nominations from CCMA include : Album of the Year - Way Beyond The Blue and Single of the Year for Tips Of My Fingers . She has also been nominated for a Juno Award for the "Most Promising Female Vocalist" and "Country Female Vocalist of the Year". She has won the Dutch Country Music Awards "Female Vocalist of the Year" and RPM Big Country Awards "Female Vocalist" three times.
In 2007, Anita was the opening act during the very successful Canadian tour for country legend, Ray Price!

Friday from 1:PM until 5:PM
Saturday from 1:PM until 5:PM
Sunday from 1:PM until 5:PM

Friday and Saturday night from 11:PM until 1:AM new artists and bands will be showcased
who are not booked on the main stage for this year.

Breakfast , Lunch and Dinner will be served

8 to 11 am. Breakfast of eggs sausage bacon pancakes..   for $6.00
11.30 to 2.00 pm. Lunch of cheeseburgers, hamburgers, hot dogs.
5 to 7pm.  Supper  1 night roast beef, 1 night roast pork, 1 night turkey with mash potatoes,mix veg. and desert. For $12.00
We will also serve tea, coffee, juice, milk and water.
