The Kinmount Kountry Jamboree would like to acknowledge and thank those who have molded our Country Music
as we know it today. Their efforts and dedication to the Canadian Country music
industry have paved the way for new artists to become known and to perform their music.
The Kinmount Jamboree Hall Of Fame was started in 2008  and new artists will be added each year.
 



Johnny Burke
Johnny Burke has been a leader in  country music with his No. 1 Hit "Wild Honey"
in 1977. Johnny and his band, East Wind, have entertained from coast to coast. Johnny has been a favorite among the fans in country music.



 
Mickey McGiverin
 Mickey McGiverin has
played guitar on over 350 
union recording sessions. 
Mickey was recently inducted into the Ottawa Country Music Hall Of Fame.


2008 Inductee's

HAROLD MacINTYRE
Harold MacIntyre has had great success when it comes to country music. With his No. 1 hit  -"Before She Made Me Crawl", Harold has entertained  fans across Canada. 

 
CHEF ADAMS
Chef Adams has played country music from a young age. Chef has recorded and entertained across Canada and the 
United States. 
Chef had been on the board for the C.C.M.R. for 10 years, helping out wherever he was able. Chef now promotes country music with his own 
jamboree called 
"The MapleLeaf Country Jamboree".
Chef has been inducted  into our Hall Of Fame for his success in Country Music.


 
NORM POST
Norm Post is an icon in Country Music. Norm made Country Music a family affair with his group - "The Post Family". This talented group played Jamborees & Shows and always left the fans wanting more. His son, Kenny (the drummer in the family), went on to great success and was nominated as 'Drummer of the Year" with the Canadian Country Music Awards in 2000. Special thanks to Norm for his help and dedication to country music and the Kinmount Kountry Jamboree.
Norm  has been inducted  into our Hall Of Fame for his success and help in promoting Country Music.



Tom Mark
Tom has been playing Country Music from a young age. With his band "Stetson", Tom has been called upon to back up many artist at different events.

Al Brisco - Steel Guitars Of Canada
Al Brisco, president of Steel Guitars  Of Canada, is recognized internationally as one of Canada's top steel guitar players. Al spends most of his time helping fellow steel players by holding seminars and events to bring them together, as well as performing with artists such as Carroll Baker, Johnny Burke, Tommy Hunter, Lawnie Wallace & many others. 

Al has been inducted into our Hall Of Fame for his dedication in promoting Steel Guitar and 
Country Music.


Bill Johnson
Bill has been entertaining since the early sixties and has played with almost every country star in Canada. . Bill spent a number of years as a D.J. for CHOO Country radio in Ajax and had the largest listening audience of all the D.J.s in the area. Bill has been inducted into our Hall Of Fame for his dedication in promoting Country Music.
