Kinmount Kountry Jamboree 2009

The Second Annual
 Country Music Jamboree
June 25, 26 & 27, & 28th
at the Kinmount Fairgrounds
Kinmount ON

About Us...
Kinmount, located in the heart of Ontario, is proud to host its first Country Music Jamboree at the Fairgrounds. Kinmount is renowned for holding one of the top ten Fairs in Canada each year on Labour Day Weekend! With the construction of their new Arena just completed in 2008, the Board of Directors were looking for more ways to promote the grounds and the idea of holding a country music weekend was decided upon. The campground is quite beautiful and there is room for over 750 trailers! Campers will have their own site nestled in a beautiful 200 - 300 year old white pine forest. Three trams will be operating throughout the camping area, during the day and evening, to bring fans to the Grandstand and Arena and  transport them back to their trailers .
Our main stage shows will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening at the Grandstand from 7:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m..  As well as the grandstand seating, campers may bring their lawn chairs and set them in front of the stage to enjoy the show.
We will begin the Jamboree on Thursday evening, with 'Open Mic' in the newly constructed Arena from 7 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.. Open Mic will also be held each afternoon, Friday - Saturday & Sunday, from 1:00 - 5:00 and 11:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.
To complete our weekend, there will be a fireworks display after the Sunday evening Main Stage show in celebration of Canada Day!
