Here
are some letters from radio stations
Wrangler Gene
& The Bunkhouse Gang
Dear Ambassador Records,
Please forgive us
for not having a proper name to use in addressing this letter. Though we
wanted you to know that we've received your compilation CD "Premier Recording
Artist 95" and found the entire project to be terrific!
Our Radio program
"Wrangler Gene and the Bunkhouse Gang" always features Canadian entertainers.
Each and every syndicated program has at least three Canadian entertainers
to the hour.
This week's show to
Europe featured Miss Joyce Seamone singing "Testing 1-2-3" and Miss Barbara
Allen's "Yodeling Song". We appreciated each and every artist on your CD
for sure, though for now it's just Miss Allen. Incidentally, we also featured
Mr. Gordon Wilcox.
Our syndicated TV
program "Nashville Night In Texas" has featured several Canadian entertainers
and we always display the Canadian Flag proudly. We had a special program
on which we saluted Canadian and a guest on the program noticed we only
had a tiny Canadian flag and he sent us without our expecting it, a beautiful
Canadian "Maple Leaf" to display.
We'd like to say too
that the quality of your CD is excellent throughout. We've long held that
Nashville offers nothing which isn't available in Canada, especially the
Ontario area, so do take pride in your fine product and do let the artist
know we appreciate them for their skill an ability.
Just for the record..."pun
intended," Ambassador is tops with us here on the "Wrangler Gene" show.
Good quality videos of Canadian artist such as are on your CD are welcome
here too. We do use such material on the "Nashville Night In Texas" program.
In closing we'd like
to thank you again for a superior product and for the best in entertainers.
Canada has a thing or two to be proud of aside from George Chuvelo. Keep
up the fine work.
Your Friends in Texas,
Jean Paul and Lenora

This letter is for
the Jenny & Josie CD "Now and Then" September 5th 1996
Howdy Gals,
What a pleasant surprise
to find such a nice CD in our mailbox yesterday and just wanted to thank
you for sending it along.
As you may have heard
through the grapevine, we feature a lot of Canadian talent on out shows.
Shania Twain, Brent McAthey, Paul Brant, Thomas Wade, Marty Howard, Derek
Pilgrim, Michael T. Wall, Valerie Sherman and a host of others got their
start on our network which goes out to 78 stations daily.
It's interesting to
note that with a name like Josie, I just received a call from Nashville
form an artist Josie, saying she just recorded one of my songs in her album.
I have a publishing
company which is Shane Wilder Music, BMI and have some top writers from
Nashville which happens to be my hometown. I specialize in female country
material so if you gals are in need of some good songs let me know. Several
Canadian artists are now recording my material such as Kathy Kramer and
I believe she's from the West Coast of Canada.
Keep us in mind for
future product and I wish you all the best in your singin' careers,
Program Director :

Dear Linda (Ambassador
Records)
Thanks for sending
me the CD, from "Peter Solmes" - A Canadian Heart -. I appreciate this
CD very much. I received it in August and I'm sorry for the late reaction
but I am very busy. I play the CD already a couple of times a week and
Peter was the new singer of the month for December. I think he is a big
contribution to the program.
A Short review: Peter
Solmes is a man with great voice and an excellent feeling for different
styles. What he brings on the CD "A Canadian Heart" is a class A performance
and a great contribution to the Country Music over all. I can only say
"Go On Peter".
Please send some promo's
on cassette from Peter Solmes to promote him and it makes the program more
special.
With country regards
from the Netherlands
Pete Spaan (Program
Director)
